At Mpala Guest House, we strive to offer a pleasant and comfortable stay for all our guests. To ensure transparency and flexibility, we have implemented the following refund policy:

Refund Eligibility


  • Cancellations by the Guest House: Should Mpala Guest House need to cancel your reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, guests will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule their stay at no extra cost.
  • Guest Cancellations:
    • Flexible Bookings: Cancellations made more than 7 days before the check-in date will qualify for a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days but more than 48 hours before check-in will be eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 48 hours of the check-in date.
    • Non-Refundable Bookings: Certain promotional or discounted rates are non-refundable. Please review your booking terms carefully before completing your reservation.

Non-Refundable Situations


  • No-Show: Guests who fail to show up on the scheduled check-in date without prior communication will not receive a refund.
  • Early Check-Out: Guests who choose to leave earlier than the confirmed check-out date will not be eligible for a refund for the remaining nights.

Refund Request Process


  • How to Request a Refund: To request a refund, please contact our reservations team with your booking details. Approved refunds will be issued via the original payment method used.
  • Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days following approval.

Rescheduling


  • Guests may reschedule their stay up to 48 hours before their original check-in date, subject to availability. Any rate differences for the new dates may apply.
